Diary of an Intern- Day 5

Evening lovelies,
So, I have been in London for nearly a week already and I shall be going home in just 7 days! My editor, Jo, is going to Ibiza this evening so I had a little chat with her about my work and how I've done. She was thrilled and said I could go back any time I wanted to! Nearly choked. ha.

Today, I got stuck into my research for the features articles and pitched some more ideas to Jo :) Spent a bit more time with Catherine who is going to be my "editor" next week.

Being in a place so full of fashion inspiration and people who really know what they are on about actually gave me a little boot up the bum to pluck up the courage to talk to the fashion editor about my future and things I was interested in. She is a gorgeous woman who always dresses perfectly. I have talked to a her a few times but not in much detail and because she is such an amazing woman, I was rather nervous! Anyway, in the end she was so lovely to me and gave me her card so that I can email her in the future about things. They even said I could go on a shoot next week which would be amazing!
I'm so lucky to be here.
I decided afterwards that I wanted to visit the Tate so after a brief goodbye to Jo, I made my way to the museum and absorbed all the amazing artwork. I came out of there thinking that I could paint and was determined to get my photos/art in a gallery in the future, even though I cannot draw and only ever take pictures for my albums! ha, still.
Anyway, back to LOOK. With more models turning up and clothes appearing from nowehere, I almost felt like I was in a different world. This really is my dream job. Writing and surrounded by pretty shoes, bags, hats and skirts!
Next week I shall be moving desks as the one I'm in now is the Deputy Editor's and she's currently on Holiday. I'll be moving over to the newly free desk on features so I can talk to them more and hopefully make a bit of an impact :)
For now, I am going to spend a lovely weekend with my darling cousin, adventuring down the streets of Shoreditch, Camden and Soho and hunting down some gorgeous vintage finds.
