Mia at the moment

Morning (just about) lovelies,
I've been so busy lately that my poor little blog isn't getting as much attention as I want it to! I'm only human after all and juggling a number of projects is becoming rather tiring!
At the moment, a lot of my time is obviously going into my Uni Work. I'm at my last year now of my course and could honeslty stay another 3 years! The thought of leaving the safety of Cardiff terrifies me and my safe home of Uni is going to be taken away from me in a matter of months. Everyone who leaves Uni must feel like this at some point. I mean, we have been in education from the age of 3 and suddenly, it becomes very apparent that we could potentially be on our last year, depending on further study of course.
So, with third year comes hard work and determination to grab that desired 2.1 or 1st. All my time is litterally going into readings and essay prep and it's only the third week! However, as evident, I still don't want to leave. This term, I'm studying Media Law, Racism and conflict and Spin Un-spun, which I hope will be useful to me in my career.
As well as being busy in Uni, I'm also spending a lot of time planning events and things for the Fashion Society, which I am President of. I LOVE working with the fashion girls and we have some amazing things planned such as a industry talk from the lovely Naomi Thompson, a trip to Paris and  Vintage Catwalk show! We are also in talks with the delightful Hero and Cape about t-shirt designs which is extra special :) Being President of the FashSoc means a lot of responsibility, especially when it comes to planning trips abroad! However, I have such a passion for fashion (CLICHÉ!! and CRINGE! ha) that I absolutely love doing all these events with them. It's also cemented the fact that I think a career in the fashion industry is for me.
As an avid writer and a keen blogger, I thought it would be a good idea to set up a FashSoc blog, which we have now done, so that all the girls and guys can show off their fashionista side as well as have an output for their own writing.

aha, just fancied sharing that with you guys. A little outburst of what's on my mind right now as I sit in the library surrounded by journos furiously reading their next seminar's reading.

Take Care <3
