After months of planning, myself and my lovely fashion soc girls put together a vintage catwalk show in our union in Cardiff, to raise money for two very special charities.
We decided that we wanted to push the boat out this year and so we managed to get some lovely hair and make up artists from Coleg Morgannwg as well as two outstanding photographers- James Cohen and Peter Hong. We asked out gorgeous fashion soc members to be our models and even had the amazing Chloe Swaby singing for us!
This is the first catwalk that I have ever planned and I can honestly say that without my gorgeous fash soc girls, there is no way I could have pulled it off.
The hall was full of beautiful vintage boutiques and the ceiling glittered with tiny little fairy lights. With some gorgeous swing music in the background, our models looked effortlessly beautiful. I'm so proud to everyone who took part and I want to say a personal thank you to everyone who came and donated money. In the end, we raised £200 for the Noah's Ark Appeal and Haiti Hospital Appeal.
To name everyone involved would take forever so here is a big THANK YOU to you all <£ It really does mean a huge amount to me, especially seen as the Noah's Ark Appeal has a personal relationship with me and my family. The Noah's Ark Appeal look after children in Cardiff's hospitals. They look after the children in the high dependency ward who need special attention and life saving care. Last Christmas, my 6 year old brother suffered greatly with heart problems due to Kawasaki disease, and I wanted to give something back to the hospital for bringing him home for Christmas.
