Grazia- Street Fashion Week

Young fashion lovers of Cardiff, you are in for a treat as sweet as a freshly baked welsh cake, for the super stylish Grazia Mag is heading to our "lush" Welsh Capitol!

This September, Grazia has teamed with hair experts Toni&Guy to launch Street Fashion Week. For one week only, the magazine's precision eyed Style Hunters will be scouring the cities of Britain to find out who has the most fashionable ladies and how each region's own personal style is more unique than the next. 

Grazia has chosen fashion writer and blogger Lucy Smith as their Cardiff Style Hunter and given her the task of searching for the best that the Welsh City has to offer.

I for one am very excited about this fabulous opportunity for Cardiff to show off why we think we are the most stylish City in the UK. I've always been one to advocate how unique and quirky our personal style is as a City, and with the recent additions of Pretty Green, Fred Perry and soon to be Vivienne Westwood, we are definitely paving way in the designer scene as well. 

Cardiff has always been the perfect mood board setting for not only the latest trends, but also for the unique and individual styles that grace our streets and allow the city to dare to stand out from the crowd. With the valley's housing the MOD, Teddy Boy and Punk trends in the past, Cardiff is definitely a city that holds no barriers when it comes to fashion! What is even more exciting about this competition is the perfect and clear emphasis on street style. Fashion bloggers and fashion lovers have had a profound effect on the way magazines write about fashion these days due to the high numbers of fresh fashion blogs appearing every day. Nowadays, it's not just the likes of Alexa Chung that affect the shows at fashion season, it's the street style bloggers and snappers that are getting the attention. 

So, if you want to be involved with this amazing week, then head to Warehouse in St Davids 2 on September 25 where Lucy will be starting her street style search. She wants you guys to come along in your most stylish outfits and show off your own personal styles!
Just for you guys, there will be also be an in-store makeover experience by Toni&Guy (between 11am-3pm) so you can perfect your look before you get snapped! 

Each day, the pictures taken will be uploaded live to Grazia's street style website, with the opportunity for girls to upload pictures of themselves to the site from 22nd September (so don't worry if you can't make it into town!). 

Then, the lucky 5 voted the most stylish will win the ULTIMATE street style fashionista's prize- a Canon Ixus Camera plus a £50 Warehouse voucher!!!

Grazia also want their lovely readers to vote for their favourite City from October 1st and to say thank you there will be some lovely prizes up for grabs:
