My Autumn buys

September is the month that every student waits for. It is the month when the long awaited student loan finally lands in your bank account with a big almighty thump. It is also the month that many students dread, for they know as soon as that money brings their account into the green, within two weeks you will be wondering how you managed to spend so much on so little and will struggle the rest of the semester, until the next loan day of course.
This Autumn, I have become obsessed with the deep berry red colour. With a visit to town today, I bought three mulberry coloured beauties. Two pairs of boots and some gorgeous shorts.
As many of you know, my dad was an avid mod and his influences have rubbed off on my sense of style and my music tastes. I've wanted a pair of chelsea boots for a while now and finally found the perfect pair. Although they are healed and not the type I had in mind, I totally fell in love with them.

Hello Chelsea!
My next purchase, were a pair of suede heeled desert boots. Although they are pretty much the same colour as these chelsea boots, they provide a perfect day alternative to my new boots. They are incredibly comfy and will look gorgeous with some thick socks and a winter skirt.
Of course, to go with my lovely new boots, I needed some new shorts! I stumbled across these lovely ones in Miss Selfridge. I love the leather pocket and belt detail as it adds an extra something to the apparel. They are perfect for the autumn because they are thicker than summer shorts, offering extra warmth.
