Autumn Hair

A few months ago, I cut my hair incredibly short (for me). For years I had long curly hair and would never ever let anyone cut it but when I reached 17, I decided enough was enough and chopped it all off.
You see, I'm not the type of person who is attached to their. After cutting off like that, I felt so free and liberating and now, I know that I could probably cut it into to a bob tomorrow and be totally okay with it. However, that doesn't mean that I don't long for my locks to grow again! I really want to have long hair this autumn. I want it to warm  my neck during the winter chill and act as a kind of human scarf, but, I still long for a change. I have come to the conclusion that I could not bare to dye my red hair any other colour. It's just something that represents me and people know me for my red hair. It's part of who I have become (my first ever blog was called Poppy Coloured Red Head). But I still long for a change! I have been looking at the latest hair styles and kinda like these:

I want to keep my hair relaxed and laid back so that I can easily shove it back if I am having a down day! Although these are blonde, I am definitely keeping my red, however, I might use some subtle shades to alter the texture of my hair. Maybe some soft coppers?

  1. I love red hair - i have dyed mine and someone called me a "red head" the other day. Of course, it is fake and it just depressed me that i don't have real red hair! x
