Boys by Girls

Hey lovely people, I just thought I'd make you aware of this beautiful project that I've been lucky enough to write for- Boys By Girls.

http://www.boysbygirls.co.uk/

I first heard of the project a few months ago whilst browsing fashion names in the wonderful world of twitter, and I've since fallen in love with it.

The project was started up by Cecilie Harris and India Hobson in a bid to show how a female captures the beauty and art of the male body. Through small articles, features and breath taking photographs, the project celebrates the male form in a way that hasn't been seen before and I think this is why I like it so much. So often we hear of how gorgeous the female body is and the male form usually gets lost in connotations of masculinity and roughness that society seems to assume a man should be. However this project, although maybe unintended, seems to look at the beautiful innocence of the male body and how it too can be adored and photographed in way that makes you think about it. The photographs are so beautiful and serene that you almost forget they are actually real photographs and let your mind believe they could be a painter's masterpiece.

With two books already out, the project really is growing from strength to strength and I want you all to check it out.

Here is the little feature that I wrote for it this week about the gorgeous model, Jed Texas.
