I've been looking for a new diary for 2013 for some time now so when I was sent* this beautiful one from The Scribble House, I instantly loved it. It's not only gorgeously delicate but also incredibly detailed.
It's basically like a writer's bible.
Beautiful gold leaf edging and crisp creme coloured pages means the diary is the epitome of style and traditional glamour. It's honestly just incredible.
There are week views, month views and even 2014 month views, as well as detailed information about travel, a telephone directory, a birthday and anniversary section and of course a few pages for those all important notes.
Now, if you are like me and you still prefer planning your days on a page instead of an online calendar, then this diary is for you. I love nothing more than seeing my daily projects, appointments and to-dos all on a (beautiful) page right in front of me. Somehow, I feel as though if my diary is organised and precise, then so is my mind.
This gorgeous leather green diary is not only undeniably pretty but also functional, and that's why I love it. My photos don't do it enough justice so I urge you all to visit the website and find out a bit more about The Scribble House products.
What I love about this diary is that is holds traditional values within it's pages. It's ideal for the woman (or man) who loves quality and timeless pieces and it offers exactly that. The amount of effort that has gone in to not only designing this piece, but also creating it is very clear and for those lucky enough to be bought one, the level of appreciation is also clear.
The sophisticated design means that it doesn't look out of place next to my collection of Vogues and would fit in nicely during the buzz of London Fashion Week. I can already see the names "Felder and Felder" and "PPQ" being pencilled in to its delicate yet fashion-ready pages.
It truly is beautiful.
For those of you who are interested in who The Scribble House are; they are a family run business, founded by Louise (Lulu) Littleboy, who make luxurious leather presents and stationary. As well as creating beautiful diaries like this one, they also have leather pencil cases, make up cases, stud boxes and wash bags (plus a few little extras). As you can see from the pictures, they take great pride in the quality and utility of their leather diaries, which are all created using smyth-sewn binding. All of the leather is sourced from tanneries in France and Italy and the diaries are designed in the US.
It's very rare that I ever speak so highly about a product so I urge you all to take note; this diary is incredible and I never want it to leave my side!
