Clothes Show Live

Last weekend I visited the UK'S biggest fashion showcase- The Clothes Show Live. Filled with fashion bargains, goodies and shows, the event promises to be a complete fashion heaven to all those who visit. Almost like a pilgrimage for many fashion followers, the Clothes Show Live features stalls from many high street faves as well as a selection of catwalks, industry talks and performances. 

I have to admit, despite it offering an insane amount of fashion goods and items, I was slightly overwhelmed by the vast layout of the show, which was held in the NEC Birmingham, and it did prove a little difficult navigating around the huge hall. Although, some may see this as an exciting fashion maze, ready to be discovered! 

I did however enjoy the interviews with Zainab from Styled To Rock and London Fashion Week designer Bora Aksu, who's shows I regularly attend. It was quite interesting and intriguing to be part of small crowd who were watching the interviews as it is highly unlikely many would ever be in such close proximity to these incredible and renowned designers. 

We also got to see the Britain's Next Top Model girls in action with a special high street Catwalk show. I found this very interesting as you got to see the girls in their new natural environment. It was also quite lovely to see that the girls have quite healthy figures which obviously promoted some healthy vibes for the crowds of young girls who were screaming their names. 

Unfortunately, we missed the main catwalk event (boo!) due to a mix up in the press office but I'm pretty sure it was incredible. Some of the gals from Cardiff University Fashion Society (which I used to be President of) attended the event so I may get one of them to write up a piece for you guys.
