Day 3- Interview with House of Sunny

House of Sunny is an exciting new fashion house which is fronted by the talented Sunny Williams. The young designer manages to create the most beautiful clothes which are perfectly suited to the female body. Emphasises feminitiy and elegance; the clothes are the epitome of glamour. What can only be described as art, the clothes breathe fresh air into the fashion scene by bringing personality to the catwalk. Here, we are incredibly honoured to talk to House of Sunny :)

Dreaming Classic Cool Britannia

You are an inspiration to many budding designers out there, but where do you get your own inspiration from? 

I'm inspired by the beauty theory, and often take references from outside of fashion, Kinda like a man looking in, I feel its very important to step outside the box.

Understand the fabric, the clothes, the ideas, and also how this reflects the world and the times around you.

How did it all begin?
After graduating, I applied to work at Savile Row as I wanted to learn refinement, discipline and give structure and quality to my every dreaming mind of ideas, these two now balance out my vision for the brand.

I have thousands, at the moment,
Sir David Attenborough, Cecil Beaton
 

How would you describe your designs?

I love the idea that clothes can change your mood, take you away and let you be another person, My clothes celebrate this. It's taken from old glamour from a time when england was very exciting, revamped with new materials and a House trademark. The clothes are like art pieces and the people who wear them, I like to see them as artists.
 

How did it feel to be in Italian Vogue?

Fantastic, its just a start. I want the clothes to be loved and take you away, Vogue does this for me and has always done so, So it's an honour.

 

What's next for House of Sunny?

We are launching our first handbag, new collection, the first face of the House and plenty more, its very exciting and so much hard work, But love is involved from start to finish, and we hope to be exciting you all soon. The futures bright.
