Sweet Shalimar!

Sweet Sweet Shalimar.
I've never done a perfume blog post before, so this is a first, which is surprise as I worked in Boots on Fragrance for nearly 4 years!
Anyway, when I attended the John Lewis Christmas Party, I was introduced to the new Guerlain perfume, Shalimar. Probably more well known with the youngsters due to the ad campaign surrounding Gossip Girl.
Guerlain has long been known for its perfumes and it France's most influential Perfume maker. Found in 1828, it is well established and renowned in the perfume industry and has brought out over 300 perfumes over the years.
Scented with sweet roses and  jasmine, Shalimar is a truly adorable and feminine fragrance which is perfect for day and night wear. There's also a fabulous mix of lemon, tonka beans and vanilla which gives a real sensual feel.
I must admit that I am completely addicted to the sophisticated yet dainty perfume and it's quickly becoming my every day wear. I urge you to go and try it. You will not be disappointed :)
