Diary of an Intern- Day 7

Good evening lovelies.
I am tucked up in bed, trying to keep my eyes open to fill you in on today's adventure!
One of my features ideas seems to be going good and Catherine sent it off to the deputy editor today to be reviewed, so, hopefully I will be able to write it up for them to have a little look at! So exciting!
As Jo is away, we have a freelance editor who is standing in called Kate. She is a very well established journalist and makes an impression on the feautres desk right away. Today, I spent the morning transcribing an interview that she had done and was in awe of the way she conducted it. Totally professional and straight to the point, she managed to ask all the right questions and create a repo with the young lady straight away!
Of course, you know that I'm not going to say who she interviewed because I love to keep you guys guessing!
Although tomorrow, a pop star is coming in to be interviewed and everyone is very excited! Last week, it was the Saturdays and now this! It's so amazing.
What is more exciting is that some of the girls went to V on the weekend and have been talking about what it was like being backstage and interviewing everyone! I am so jealous but totally in awe at them and their stories, I find myself asking so many questions about who they've managed to talk to!
Tomorrow, I hope to have a little meeting with Catherine and discuss my progress. I think it's important for me to know what I'm doing well and what I could do better so that I can improve :) All the feedback I've had so far has been so amazing and as I mentioned before, they have welcomed me back :) Catherine even said that Jo and I had bonded quickly which I loved!
With only three days left at LOOK, I want to make them all count so I am constantly aware that I won't be there for much longer. I don't want to miss any opportunities and so for the next 3 days, I am going to work even harder!
So, as I am barely winning this sleep war right now, I am heading to bed.
