After the busy rush at the Corrie Nielson show, me and Alex headed off to explore the rest of Somerset House. Somehow, we managed to find ourselves Front Row or FROW to all you LFW lovers, at the Fyodor Golan show. This was incredibly exciting as Fyodor Golan was definitely a one to watch at lfw and I we were incredibly lucky to be given the opportunity to see the show. I think I took the best catwalk pictures at this show as well so hopefully you'll like them!
Now Fyodor Golan is a design team made up of two creative designers; Fyodor Podgorny (amazing name!) and Golan Frydman. The fashion duo scooped last years Fashion Fringe award and came back this season with a breathtaking show. The clothes were daring and had a brilliant masculine edge as the models wore nose rings and face piercings. With beautiful texturing, layering and shaping, the designers managed to create clothes which echoed their "insect" influences. What I really loved about this show was that the model and clothes seemed combined in some way, like there was no beginning or end to the material or design; they were completely one.
