Jesse Wears!

Welcome to the second Jesse Wears post! A post showcasing my little brother's ideas of style and fashion- just as a bit of fun of course! Jesse has spent the whole of last week asking me how many people have viewed his post and what can he wear for this one. I think he's beginning to like attention!

So, this week he's picked one of his summer tees to show you. He's going on holiday this summer so this is perfect for the evening. Even as an eight year old, Jesse has a strong sense of style and it's definitely something that he pays attention to. Our father was a mod and both parents are huge Paul Weller fans, hence his mod/Weller hair style (he has refused to cut this for years).

We also thought it would be cute to get the pup involved this week, although she didn't enjoy the camera as much as Jesse did! She's a 3 (I think) year old miniature poodle which me and my other brother, Corey, surprised Jesse with after he came out of hospital the day before Christmas eve a few years ago.  (He was VERY ill and we're very lucky to have him).

I asked Jesse why he liked this outfit and his answer was straight to the point and simple -

"Because it's stylish".

What do you guys think?

Friday Wishlist

Recently I've really been into laid back fashion. I'm talking slouchy tees, trainers and oversized jumpers. Although, due to me being a little way off pay day at the moment, I haven't actually purchased many of my new must-have/need items.

Last night, I ventured into town with the boy and literally fell in love with nearly every item in Topshop. My love for floral feminine items has clearly now gone out of the window. Nowadays, it's either classic, staple items such as my black skinnies and a clean cut shirt, or dressed down, laid back attire like these cult tees or jumpers. Even at 21, I still don't have a definitive style! These little items may not have the wow factor in terms of standing out, but pair them with a staple necklace and a pair of classic shoes and they'd do the trick. They're definitely what I'm craving now anyway!

What about you? Have you found yourself going after items you wouldn't normally wear?
