Introducing: Bill+Mar

It's time to introduce you to a beautiful young brand called Bill+Mar. Established in 2010 by Rosie Bonnar, the brand focuses on creating a unique personal wardrobe that features a mixture of prints, cuts and textures. 

The exciting project has recently caught the attention of some of Britian's fashion and music elite, including songstress Rita Ora, Aluna from duo Aluna George and Made In Chelsea's Rosie Fortescue. 

Marble prints, flashes of neon and velvet on cuts and styles that emphasise and focus on the silhouette make up the brand's AW13 collection. Their new collection beautifully compliments the female body with pleather cocoon dresses, blue velvet playsuits and hip skimming maxi v cut dresses.

I adore this brand. The creativity in the marble prints and the focus on the silhouette allow the brand to experiment yet still celebrate the female form. There is a sort of street wear yet feminine style to the collection which allows the brand to be diverse. I admire the experimentation with different fabrics from chiffon to pleather and also the asymmetric detailing and cut outs. Friday Wishlist

I've been so busy finishing work and getting ready for my post grad course that I haven't been able to keep up some of my blog features lately. I'm definitely going to get my little brother back on the blog for Jesse Wears soon so keep an eye out for that.

As I'm due to make the big jump back into University education again, it also seemed like the right time to create a Friday Wishlist post seen as that looks like all I'm going to be able to do for a while! (hello even more student debts!). 

My wishlist is ever growing at the moment, but I know that I want to really sort out my old wardrobe and get some key staple pieces that will take me through the transitional period and winter months. 

Admittedly, a little mis-matched but I've had my eye on these beauts for a little while now! 

The Review Party

Every girl wants to work with their best friends right? Maybe open a shop or start something new and exciting? Well, whilst busy chatting on whats app about life after University a few weeks ago, my best friends and I decided to do just that. 

As a fashion blogger, I occasionally get asked to write about specific items or events, but recently I'd been sent a lot of information about new beauty products. Now, I'm a bit of an amateur when it comes to all things beauty related so I suggested to my friends that we all get together one night and try out some new products I'd been sent to see how they worked, and so, The Review Party was born.  

The Review Party is a brand new beauty blog which has a little something different to offer you. Written by myself and my best friends: Elinor, Stephanie and Sophie. The basic concept behind it is that every week or so, we all get together for a girly night and review new beauty products. As each of us have completely different looks (hair and complexion) we thought it would be quite interested to see how the same products looks on each of us. Plus, it's a great excuse for a girly night!

Well, when you think that H&M can't top their ever-growing list of designer collaborations, they bring in Isabel Marant. 

The contemporary Parisian designer who knows exactly how to dress a woman without creating too much fuss. With beautiful collections that are irresistibly cool, she makes the "just rolled out of bed look" effortlessly elegant and amazingly fashionable.

Blending ethnic and urban designs with a touch of tomboy chic, Isabel is one of the most sought after designers with a famous following of celebs which include the ultra sassy Sienna Miller. 

Her designs are accessible and easy to wear yet are so intricate and beautiful that you feel undoubtedly beautiful wearing them. 

According to Vogue, the collection is due to hit stores on November 14 and will include womenswear, accessories and menswear pieces. 

Talking to Vogue, Marant said: (imagine her saying it in her beautiful french accent, I am!)

"I am flattered by this collaboration: H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim to create something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy."

"The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one's own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality."

November seriously can't come quick enough! Marant's previous collections have all been to die for; pairing scuffed ankle boots with a tee and jeans, then adding that extra detailing in the jewellery which although carefully picked out, is recklessly placed to give that contemporary urban look - perfect for everyday wear! I am seriously excited about this one...

Jesse Wears!

Y'know, Jesse was a very lucky little kid a few years back when he was very sick. You'd never think that now would you? He's full of life and definitely keeps me on my toes (he moaned at the me the other day because I said I was too old to wrestle an 8 year old. I mean Jesse obv, not a random child). Not only is he constantly full of beans, which I've recently found out apparently over flow when you feed him skittles, but he's also the sweetest little guy I know. I think that's what makes it such a joy to photograph him every week. We've had so many people compliment this feature so thank you every one for taking the time to look through the photos. It means a lot and believe me, it really does make Jesse smile when he sees how many people read it! 

This week, we're posting a little later as he was out on a bike ride with my dad, but I think it worked out great because the sun is perfect in these photographs. My boyfriend, Aaron, was on hand this week to keep him smiling throughout the shoot! The photos always turn out better when you tell Jesse jokes! haha.

Jesse Wears

Welcome to another Jesse Wears post! The sun is still shining so we were able to take over the garden once more! This week, I was contacted by someone who loves Jesse Wears and we'll be working on a another project very soon! I'm not saying too much just yet.

 Jesse picked out one of his tees that my mother bought him for their holiday in July for this post. He loved this Matalan tshirt because he's spotted similar in Topman while shopping with my brother so he feels rather grown up! (cute)

He's becoming quite the little diva when it comes to these posts - making sure his hair is right before we start and even directing me when I'm taking the photos! I'm only joking about the diva bit really - he's a little sweetheart. 

He'd just come back from a bike ride with my dad so we thought we'd get some pics with it. I love this little outfit. Bright, playful and very on trend. It's official, my little brother is cooler than me.

Jesse Wears

Good afternoon! I hope you're all enjoying the wonderful sunshine today. It's a Sunday which means it's a Jesse Wears day. This week we've put the umbrella away and are back out in the garden. We did try and get the puppy involved once more but she was having none of it! She would clearly much rather chill in the sun than have her photo taken. Anyway, Jesse's outfit this week is quite a chilled one seen as he's having a relaxing Sunday with my mother. He picked his check shorts, grey hooded top and neon flip flops for his outfit because they're nice and laid back and perfect for a bit of a play day. I have to say, I'm not usually a fan of flip flops but I think the neon rescues them a bit here ;) As always, he loved his time in front of my camera. I'm not sure many people know but Jesse actually used to take all the pictures of me for my blog so he's quite a talented little guy.
